My name is Josie Goldberg, not the famous playboy supermodel – I wish! She is one sexy Californian girl!!!!

What I do is nowhere near as glamorous but we do have a few things in common. We both live in beautiful beachside locations and our work is totally focused on the human body! Are you intrigued yet?

I am a wellness coach (you probably weren’t expecting that were you?) and I live on the Gold Coast in Australia.

Back when I was Josie’s age (20 something) I was an Aussie aerobic dance instructor and personal trainer living in South Orange County. It was the 80’s and my life was pretty much all about lycra, bad hair and being really thin. (I might get brave and post some pictures for you later, maybe!) Anyway, it was at about this time in my career I had one of those experiences, you know the kind that changes your life forever!

The husband of one of the girl’s I was training walked into my studio carrying the biggest bunch of flowers you have ever seen. He handed them to me and said, “Thank you for saving our marriage”. I just stood there gobsmacked. I’d been training people for years without ever realising the impact it was having on their lives and the significant responsibility that carried.

In that moment what had been my just for fun job was catapulted into a life-long crusade. I went on a mission to seek as much knowledge and master as many skills as I possibly could to help others live happier, healthier lives and thankfully somehow managed to maintain my sense of fun along the way!

These days the challenges we all face living in Western Society are bigger than ever! We are hooked on the empty promises of expensive, gimmicky, glamorous, quick fix products being sold to us by unscrupulous marketers and giant corporations whose sole purpose is to profit from our desire to regain our health and happiness.

I created this Wellness Site as a source of continuing education and support for the thousands of people all over the world I have had the privilege of coaching. And as a resource for all of you I have shared conversations with; waiting in line at the grocery store, post office, ladies bathroom. Those I have sat next to on a train or a plane. Everyone I have met and those I have yet to meet out there searching for answers to living a healthy, happy, vital life.
